It is reasonable if not many tourists have discovered this Southern Iceland city. It is probably because the city itself is a pretty young one; built only in the 20th century, Selfoss started out as a hub for areas around it. Today the city works in a friendly pace, offers merely serene sound of Olfusa river and cafes that serve mouthwatering local delicacies. The first city you visit in Iceland is probably Reykjavik. But for a more tranquil trip, a 45-minute drive to Selfoss is definitely worth the try. Don't forget to book a session with our local photographer, so your holiday photos will look like those in tourism brochures, even better.
