Mito

As the capital city of Ibaraki prefecture, Mito’s main tourist attractions are related to its rich feudal history, such as Kairakuen Garden, Kodokan Hall and Mito Castle. We recommend you to visit the plum trees of Kairakuen during February to March it’s a sight to behold! The well-manicured garden also features a traditional Japanese building, bamboo grove and cedar woods near the Senba Lake.
